On October 13, Hu Jiling, member of the CPC Committee and Vice-president of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (hereinafter, SHUPL), met with Duleep Deosthale, Vice President of Foreign Affairs of Niagara University in CNISCO.
Hu Jiling extended a warm welcome to Vice president Duleep Deosthale and the delegation. She briefly introduced SHUPL’s development and characteristics in internationalization, and in particular, the international academic cooperation and the exchange of teachers and students. Dr.Duleep Deosthale express his sincere thanks to SHUPL for the warm reception and praised SHUPL for the efforts made in international exchange.
Subsequently, the two sides discussed about the specific international exchange programs. Hu Jiling highlighted that, SHUPL will adhere to the internationalization of education continuously, and promote international exchanges and cooperation actively, especially in students' exchange and internship, teachers' study visits, the introduction of high-quality overseas teachers and joint academic research. Dr.Duleep Deosthale also expressed the wish that the two sides can enhance cooperation on former basis, carry out more exchange programs in academic, cultural and other fields.
After the meeting, Zhou Yi, Party Secretary of School of Economics and Management, discussed in detail about the cooperation of international exchange program with Dr.Duleep Deosthale.
Dr.Duleep Deosthale also gave the students of School of Economics and Management a lecture on the students study abroad program.
