课程目标：通过教学使学生掌握法学的一般理论、基础理论和法学方法论，培养学生的法律意识和法学思维，为各部门法的学习打下坚实的理论基础，为从事法律职业造就基本的思想基础和理论素质。
课程内容：法理学是法学的一般理论、基础理论和方法论，因此本课程讲授的主要内容为法学研究和法学教育、法学方法论、法的本体、法的起源和发展、法的运行、法的作用和价值、法与社会等法理学的基本论题和问题；对贯通整个法学体系的法学基本范畴，诸如法、权利、义务、法律行为、法律关系、法律责任、法律价值等，进行相关解析；对法的要素、法律发展、法制现代化、法律方法、法律职业、法治国家、法与人权、法与经济全球化、法与生态文明等法学理论和法制建设的前沿问题进行相应介绍和探讨。

Objectives：This course is designed to provide students with general theories, basic fundamentals and methodologies of laws and develop their legal awareness and legal ways of thinking so as to lay a good foundation for their further interdisciplinary studies and equip them with basic thinking patterns and theories qualifications required for legal professionals.
Contents：This course introduces overall theories, principles and methodology of science of law such as introduction to jurisprudence: concept, system, development and research methods of law; students of jurisprudence：law of itself—definition, essence, characteristics, system and elements; law of history--origin, category, extinction; law of execution— stipulation, validity, clarification, observation, application and legal relation; law of value—law and justice, freedom, order, result; law of connection—law and state, human rights, global economy, ecology etc.
